JC CEOs Bible Institute exists because business belongs to JESUS CHRIST

Colossians 1:15–18 declares Jesus Christ as the image of the invisible God, the One through whom all things were created, the One before all things, and the One in whom all things consist, so the theology of this Bible Institute centers on Christ being first in everything!

One public example of that category describes itself as a peer-learning community for Christian CEOs, while another example describes Christian peer forums and executive coaching as the core offering.

Jesus Christ’s CEOs® Bible Institute begins somewhere else. Jesus Christ is first. The for-profit business is second. We do not start with business and try to bring Jesus into it. We start with the PREEMINENCE of JESUS CHRIST in business and then order the company accordingly.

The journey

The journey begins with the CEO, but it does not stop there

The CEO must first count the cost, because Jesus teaches that discipleship requires renouncing all competing claims and putting Him first over possessions, plans, and self-interest.

That is why the journey begins with covenant. It then moves into company consecration, and from there into company spiritual formation, where the whole business community learns to live and do business in participation with God Holy Spirit governance.

When God Holy Spirit is not testing and spiritually growing a community, these companies can flourish financially. That financial flourishing is not a contradiction of the mission. It is part of how Jesus sustains a company’s presence in the marketplace and enlarges its sphere of influence for the purpose for which He gave His life on the cross.

Who can enroll?

JC CEOs Online Bible Institute is for Christian CEOs, entrepreneurs, and owners with two or more people as part of their company. Enrollment is FREE, requiring only your presence, discipline, and hearty perseverance unto the Lord.

How much does it cost?

There is no cost to enroll. The Bible Institute is completely free.

How long does it take a CEO to go through the Bible Institute?

We currently offer two online modules that together equip CEOs to accomplish our four phases: Covenant Partners, Company Consecration, Company (team) Training, and City Restoration.

  • Module One is a 6–8 week online course made up of 26 devotions.
  • Module Two is a 10–12 week online course made up of 35 devotions.

Each devotion is self-paced and designed for private time with the Lord. We do not call our teaching lessons. They are written in a devotional-style format that imparts revelation, not just information.

What does one devotion include?

Each devotion is designed to move a CEO beyond learning into communion, renewal, and obedience.

A devotion includes:

  • A Bible teaching.
  • A time of meditation on the teaching in communion with God Holy Spirit.
  • Journaling what God Holy Spirit taught and revealed.
  • Writing a belief statement to anchor truth and replace old beliefs with God’s Word and the mind of Christ.
  • A written prayer to seal what was received before moving to the next devotion.

The goal is not simply to finish content. The goal is to seek, hear, renew, and obey.

When is the best time for a CEO to do a devotion?

We encourage CEOs to do their devotion early in the morning, before looking at their phones and before any other distractions begin.

That pattern matters because we want seeking the Lord, renewing in the Word, and receiving the mind of Christ in communion with God Holy Spirit to be preeminent, first, before anything else gets going in the day.

What are the four phases the Institute equips CEOs to accomplish?

  1. Covenant Partners —

    The CEO enters into written covenant with Jesus Christ and counts the cost of belonging fully to Him as His disciple.

  2. Company Consecration —

    The CEO consecrates the company to Jesus Christ in writing, declaring that the company is an entity of the kingdom of Christ and that Jesus has dominion over it all.

  3. Company (Team) Training —

    The CEO is equipped to establish the company in communion with God Holy Spirit governance and prepare the way for team spiritual formation through Living in Communion Company Fellowships.

  4. City Restoration —

    As companies are reordered to the preeminence of Jesus Christ, they become instruments in His hands for restoring the public squares of business and reconciling their cities and communities to Christ.

The two modules we currently teach are more than enough to equip CEOs to begin and accomplish these four phases, even as we anticipate adding more modules in the future.

Are the devotions live or on-demand?

The devotions are on-demand and self-paced.

They are designed for private time with the Lord, not for a live classroom environment. This allows each CEO to move prayerfully, respond to conviction, write, meditate, and obey without being pushed by a lecture schedule.

How much time should I expect to invest each week?

Most CEOs should expect to set apart meaningful, consistent private time with the Lord several days each week.

A healthy pace is not about rushing through the devotions. It is about giving proper time to read the Bible teaching carefully, meditate in communion with God Holy Spirit, journal what is being taught and revealed, write a belief statement, and seal the devotion in written prayer.

Some devotions may require extended time because of what God Holy Spirit is uncovering and renewing. Others may be shorter, but require significant obedience steps in your life and the company.

Can my team go through the Bible Institute with me?

No. 

The Bible Institute is for CEOs.

Jesus Christ’s CEOs® Bible Institute is specifically designed to equip the CEO. Living in Communion Company Fellowship is what includes the CEO and their team, plus all they want to invite and include.


We encourage CEOs to invite and include their entire spheres of influence in Living in Communion Company Fellowship so that disciples multiply and the impact of reconciliation grows in the public squares of business.

What is the difference between the Bible Institute and Living in Communion Company Fellowship?

The Bible Institute is where the CEO is formed.

Living in Communion Company Fellowship is where that formation begins to multiply outward into the company and beyond.

  • The Bible Institute equips the CEO.
  • Living in Communion Company Fellowship equips the CEO, their team, and the broader spheres of influence they invite into the work of discipleship and reconciliation.

The Institute is therefore not the final destination. It is the beginning point of ordered leadership that can then shape an entire company community.

Is this a traditional Bible school or a CEO coaching program?

Neither.

It is not a traditional Bible school built around academic lectures, grades, and degrees. It is not a pay-to-play CEO coaching platform built around peer-value and outside leadership community.

Jesus Christ’s CEOs® Bible Institute is a free, devotional-style Bible Institute that equips CEOs to enter covenant with Jesus Christ, consecrate their companies to Him, renew their minds in the Word, and participate with God Holy Spirit governance so that Jesus Christ becomes preeminent in business.

Is this about ministry, or is it about building a profitable business?

It is about both, in the right order.


Jesus Christ is first. The business is second. When the preeminence of Jesus Christ is restored throughout a business organization, we believe that company may enjoy His authority and power as The Ultimate Unfair Competitive Advantage!®, while also discovering biblically that it is never about the business.

These truths coexist. Profitability and growth matter because without them, a company would not remain in the public squares of business long enough to fulfill Jesus Christ’s purpose there. At the same time, the company must never mistake profit for purpose. Its true purpose is to belong to Jesus Christ and serve His reconciling work in the marketplace.

Why is this kind of training needed?

Because many Christians have not been taught how to practically and experientially restore and participate with the abiding presence of Jesus Christ through communion with God Holy Spirit in life or in business, individually or as a community.

They may have heard biblical truths, but they have not been equipped to meditate on them, renew their minds with them, replace old beliefs with them, and walk them out in obedient company life.
